OK - club debate following a chat at tonight's run. A few of us have talked about doing a half marathon in the next few weeks, and it may be interesting for a few of us to do the same one. Macclesfield (26th September) has been suggested, as has the English Half Marathon in Warrington the following week on 3rd October.
Andy hasn't entered Macclesfield yet, and the consensus tonight seems to be Warrington, on the basis that it's mostly flat (chance for a slightly faster time), and allows an extra week of training after holiday excesses! As far as I know, there's now Paul F, Richard R, Andy and myself, so if anyone wants to argue for us to enter a different race, let us know here!

OK - by way of update, looks like none of the above, and we're switching plans to run the Congleton half on 10th October....

OK - I've entered Congleton and paid my cash. Looks a good race - shame they don't allow MP3 players though. I like my sounds, particularly on a longer run. There's a half in Lancaster on 7th November - I'd be happy to give that a go too, if anyone else fancies an Autumn double. Hopefully Rodge will be able to make that one.

I have entered online for the Congleton Race. I have paid the unattached fee but still put in Prestwich AC in the club box. Hopefully this will mean the club will be represented in the results. That is of course that i cross the finishing line!

I'm going to put in for the Congleton dash as well and don't worry Jon - I'm happy to sing for you if you struggle with out your tunes - I'll concentrate on the classics like 'keep on running' and 'eye of the tiger' grrrrr

Cheers Chris.
I woke up with a sore throat this morning, so hoping it's not going to be the start of a cold. Taking it easy today, and hoping it doesn't stop me running tomorrow.

Let me know your times from the line folks, and I'll add them to the Races page - just got gun times from the Congleton Website on there at the moment.
