If I can keep my training up I would be very interested, what is the profile like?

I am scheduled to work on the 7th of November. But i am very keen to do this race. As i work with Jane it would mean that she would have to work my shift should i do the race. This would mean we would lose the team photographer. Well done John with getting the pictures and the results of Congleton on the website. PS Can i have another star oh great one!

Can't see any details of the profile anywhere Paul, but according the Runners World reviews it's flat, and has PB potential. Dave - looks like you've earned that second star mate

Hi Dave,
I'm probably going to do it, so will hopefully confirm in the next couple of days - when do you need to know by for work?
(Hope you don't mind me moving your post to this thread by the way)

Hi John
Would need to know by next monday at the latest. I am hoping we can take another team.
A work colleague who runs for Stockport Harriers has entered this race so there is a bit of added interest for me. But he is a fantastic runner so i dont think there will be much competition ( He will be on his way home before i get to the finishing line)

Dave - I've entered! I'm more than happy to drive up, so hopefully you can sort time off from work and we'll go up together. I now need to to get my act together and put in a long run today Anyone else up for it?

Good to see you are both keeping up with the racing. Another PB Jon?

Hoping so, mate. It's a flat course, so I may be able to knock a bit more off my Congleton time.

Does anybody fancy a run in the mud? The Standish Hall Trail Race is this coming saturday. I have done it previously and it is good fun. It is a late start 230pm so any friday night saturday morning hangovers should only be a minor problem. It is 10 miles and costs £7.00.

Good luck at Lancaster to those who are making the trip. Anyone thought about doing a brief race review for main website?

I'll add a review to the site if either Andy or Dave fancy writing one It was a good race - organisation pre-registration was a bit ropey, but it was a great route, helped by gorgeous winter sunshine. Nice and flat meant PBs for me (1:46) and Dave (1:40) and a great time for Andy who led us home just in front of Dave.
